1. The Promoter
This silent auction is organised by Hearts & Minds (Scottish Charity No. SC027040, Company Limited by Guarantee No. SC178916). All proceeds from this auction directly fund our Clowndoctor and Elderflower programmes across Scottish hospitals, hospices, and schools.
2. Generous Patron
Both auction packages have been generously donated by Pipeline Energy Solutions. Hearts & Minds expresses sincere gratitude for their outstanding generosity.
3. Open Silent Auction Format
This is an open silent auction. The current highest bid for each experience is visible to the public in real time. In compliance with data privacy regulations, all bidders’ personal details (names, email addresses, and telephone numbers) remain strictly private and will not be displayed publicly.
4. Minimum Bid & Increments
Bidding opens at £200 for each experience. Every new bid must meet the opening amount or exceed the current highest bid by at least £20. If you are outbid, you may return and submit another bid at any time before bidding closes.
5. Opening & Closing Times & Winner Determination
Bidding opens at 12:00 noon on Friday 16th October 2026 and officially closes at 12:00 noon on Friday 29th October 2026. The highest valid bid received and recorded before the closing time will win the prize.
6. Winner Notification & Payment Deadline
Winning bidders will be notified by text message and email by 5:00 PM on Friday 29th October 2026 using the contact details provided. Payment must be received in full by 12:00 noon on Saturday 30th October 2026. If payment is not received by this deadline, the prize may be offered to the next-highest bidder.
7. Age & Attendance Requirements
By placing a bid, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over, can attend the relevant event, and are able to pay the full amount offered. Each prize is subject to its stated date and individual venue conditions:
- Kevin Bridges Super Suite Experience for Two: Tuesday 3 November 2026 at the OVO Hydro, Glasgow. Package includes 2 tickets, Super Suite hospitality, meal for two, and a bottle of wine.
- Rangers v Aberdeen Club Deck Hospitality for Two: Tuesday 24 November 2026 at Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow. Package includes 2 match tickets in an exclusive Club Deck box, with food and drink included.
Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
8. Ticket Transfer
The tickets will be transferred once full payment has been received and cleared.
The successful bidder must provide the information required to complete the transfer and must have, or create, any account or application required by the ticket provider.
Screenshots or copies of mobile tickets will not provide valid entry. The winner must follow the ticket provider's instructions for accessing and presenting the transferred tickets.
The tickets may not be resold, auctioned again or used for commercial promotion.
9. Changes, Postponement or Cancellation
Event timings may change. The successful bidder is responsible for checking the venue and event organiser's latest information before attending.
If Hearts & Minds is unable to transfer valid tickets to the successful bidder, the amount paid will be refunded in full.
If the event is postponed, rescheduled or cancelled after the tickets have been transferred, the terms of the venue, promoter and original ticket provider will apply.
Hearts & Minds cannot guarantee that a refund will be available following cancellation or postponement. However, any ticket refund made available through the original purchaser, will be passed to the successful bidder, less any charges not refunded by the ticket provider.
Hearts & Minds is not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs arising from a cancellation, postponement or change to the event.
Nothing in these terms affects the successful bidder's statutory rights.
10. Gift Aid
The successful bid is a payment made in return for the tickets and should not be treated as a Gift Aid donation.
Any separate voluntary donation will be administered independently and may be eligible for Gift Aid if the usual conditions are met.
11. Personal Information and Privacy
Hearts & Minds will use bidders' names, contact details and bid information only to administer the auction, contact the successful and reserve bidders, process payment and transfer the tickets.
Information will be handled in accordance with Hearts & Minds' GDPR notice: Privacy & Cookies Policy.
The successful bidder's name will not be published without their consent.
