Eight year old Ryan was in hospital recently during lockdown and he was feeling a wee bit sad. The Play Assistant and Ryan’s Mum thought he needed something to cheer him up and make him smile again and take his mind of his eczema. Ryan had seen the poster in the ward about the Clowndoctors and his Mum sent in a request for a special message for Ryan from one of the Clowndoctors.
Now, the Clowndoctors like to make sure they make the message as special as possible so they asked a few questions to see what Ryan liked – turns out he loves Formula One and George Ezra! Fab combination. So it was over to Dr GoGo to create her very own message to send to Ryan.
He loved it!
This is what Lynne, Ryan’s Mum sent us after he and the rest of his family watched the video:
“Thank you so so much for the message to Ryan! He absolutely loved it. He has suffered from eczema since he was 3 months old and had it really bad 18 months ago which although it is better he is still requiring quite strong treatment. Today when he woke up his face was quite itchy and sore. We hadn’t got round to watching his message so we put it on and both my children loved watching it. What was lovely was about 10 minutes later Ryan said to me “mum after watching the clowndoctor video my face doesn’t feel sore or itchy they must be real doctors!”
It’s a great thing you all do! Well done!! Thank you again from us all.”
