As a group
What’s better than raising money on your own? Raising money with friends, loved ones and neighbours! There are many opportunities for groups to get involved in fundraising for Hearts & Minds. There are endless possibilities for events and challenges to partake in. Have an idea for your own event and just need to know how to get started? That’s okay too! Visit our Events page to see what’s coming up and for more information and resources on how to host your own fundraising event. If you want to get involved as a business visit our Corporate Partnerships page for more detailed information.
Fundraising Events
We have lots of supporters who organise fantastic fundraising events large and small to help raise money for the Elderflowers and Clowndoctors. Whether it is a large auction with raffle prizes or a bake sale in your local community centre or school we would be delighted to hear what you are planning and give you support in any way we can.
Youth Philanthropy Initiative
We would love to work with teams from schools that are taking part in the Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) and who would like to do a presentation about Hearts & Minds. Â
Â
This is a fantastic opportunity for both the young people and the charity they are representing. We will be happy to help provide an insight into the work of the Clowndoctors and Elderflowers and this can be done in person or online. We would encourage groups to contact us by phone to let us know they are interested and then we can set up an informal meeting and provide some useful resources and tips and discuss how our charity would use the YPI award money. Â
Â
We can give some useful advice on presentation skills, some warm-up exercises our artists use before they start their visits and discuss how you can engage your audience. Red noses are always a winner!Â
Â
We can’t wait to hear from you so give us a call on 0131 229 4037 or email info@heartsminds.org.uk.Â
