Congratulations to Team HeartsMinds on their Kiltwalk Success!

Congratulations to Team HeartsMinds on their Kiltwalk Success!

We are celebrating today! Team HeartsMinds have raised an amazing £4,532.99!

Ambassador Gepco van Bokhorst, his wife Angelique, our CEO Sean Donnelly and Hearts & Minds Artistic Lead Rachel Colles and her son Lewis took on The Big Stroll at The Kiltwalk in Edinburgh on Sunday September 17th. They put their best foot forward and wore their red noses with pride as they headed off from Murrayfield Stadium to take on the challenge.

They all did amazingly well and looks like they had great fun along the way. There may have been a few aching limbs and blisters by the end but nothing stopped the big smiles as they crossed the finishing line.

We also need to say a big thank you to Sir Tom Hunter who generously topped up money raised by the team by 50% to reach the amazing amount of £4,532.99!

Sean Donnelly, Interim CEO said: We are delighted to have raised so much from this year’s brilliant Kiltwalk. It was a wonderful day and to walk with so many other fundraisers on the day was a delight - the sore feet at the end was definitely worth it. Thanks go to Gepco and Angelique for travelling from the Netherlands to take part and to give up their time to raise money for Hearts & Minds. We are very grateful for their support.

Rachel Colles is joint Artistic Lead and also a Clowndoctor - Dr Mousse, and she was delighted to see the support from so many for the team and for the Clowndoctors.

Thank you to everyone who donated.

The money raised will go directly towards Clowndoctor visits and help us to expand our programme so the Clowndoctors can see more children and share many playful moments and have lots of red nose fun!

If you would like to take part in a challenge or hold a fundraising event to support our Clowndoctors or Elderflowers get in touch and we will be happy to help info@heartsminds.org.uk
